Indian Hills Weekly News

May 1, 2026

Dear Indian Hills Families,

Thursday May 14th is our annual Student Showcase Night and BOGO Bookfair from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. This is a drop-in event where families are welcome to see their student’s art, writing, and other projects from throughout the school year. Click on this link for more information. We hope you’ll join us to see and celebrate our students’ learning and growth!

Want to get involved in helping to transform our school into an art gallery for Student Showcase Night?  Mrs. Petry is seeking volunteers (with approved background checks) to lend a hand in hanging up art work on Tuesday, May 12.  No experience needed; just come to lend a hand! Sign up here to volunteer on Tuesday, May 12.  Thank you for supporting our students!

Planning a move? While we don’t want to see any of our students go, we know that sometimes changes in life necessitate a change in school for our students. If your family is not planning on returning to Indian Hills Elementary in the fall, please notify our office at 586-752-0290. Knowing this information helps us plan for staffing needs and class placements.
