Welcome message from the Superintendent

Welcome to Romeo Community Schools! 

It is my privilege to serve as the Superintendent of this incredible school district that supports over 5000 students and their families in northern Macomb County.  Romeo Community Schools is a special place first and foremost because of the hard work and dedication of our 500+ proud employees who make it happen each day for our students.  Many of these employees reside in the community and several are proud alumni.  Having been part of this community for several years now as Superintendent, I can attest to the fact that “Bulldog Pride” is something truly special and unique.  Romeo Community Schools has a rich legacy that runs throughout the community, our different municipalities, businesses and neighborhoods. I couldn’t think of a more supportive and engaged community to raise a family and educate your children.  

If you are new to the area, please let me be the first to welcome you to the community and our school district.  If you are considering Romeo Community Schools, I would love the opportunity to speak with you about our schools. It would be my honor to connect you with the educational leaders that work with our staff and students in our schools each day.  Romeo has a great tradition of excellence that is cherished but at the same time we have made great strides as a district to be innovative and prepare our graduates for college, career and life. Our 2023-25 Strategic Plan is evidence of the great work we have done even in the midst of a global pandemic but more importantly it casts a vision for the future.  

With the generous support of our voters we are in the middle of our second consecutive facilities improvement bond that has projects impacting many of our facilities and also some new construction.  We are grateful to be investing almost $170 million into our facilities over a ten year period.  It is a very exciting time to be part of Romeo Community Schools. On behalf of the Board of Education, our staff and students we welcome you to Romeo!
